A Movement By Citizens  Demanding Transparency, Accountability, and Community Engagement for Central CUSD 301/Burlington in the State of Illinois.Building A Better District is a taxpayer-led movement and is not affiliated with, nor endorsed by, the Illinois State or Kane County Regional Board of Education, nor any individual school district, or administration/Board of Education. 

Resources

Individual PDF documents can make it difficult to find what you are looking for.  In order to help make searching for things easier, we have taken various minutes and documents that are kept individually on the district website and compiled them into larger documents.  Download any of the packages below and open in Adobe Acrobat Reader.  Go to the EDIT menu and select FIND.  Enter in the term you are looking for and as you type you should see the number of references show up under the term and you can click "NEXT" to move from one reference to the next.

We will be adding more documents over time to create a central resource for the community's own research efforts into various questions they may have.  If there is a document or item you need help finding, please let us know!

CEA Teacher Survey Results

Between January and May 2024, the Central Education Association conducted a number of surveys seeking feedback from our district's teachers.  3 of the surveys were directed towards District Administration and 1 of the surveys was directed to the members of our Board of Education.  This feedback was provided in May 2024, yet none of the issues raised have been included on a single Board of Education meeting in the 4 months following receipt of the feedback.  Additionally, the public was not made aware that these surveys had been conducted and that feedback had been provided to our Superintendent and BOE Members.
