 STUDENT ENROLLMENT & FORECAST

RSP'S 5 Year Forecast (Plus Year 6)

Kindgergarten Class Size Monitoring

  • RSP's report (page 12) goes into detail about monitoring the size of our Kindergarten class each year and comparing it to the size of the outgoing Senior class.
  • For FY25, our Kindergarten class size is 322 students (with 7 outplaced) and our outgoing Senior class size is 344.
  • The trend nationally is smaller kindergarten class sizes due to millenials not having children, waiting until later in life to have children, and smaller family sizes (1-2 kids).  A downward demographic trend is seen in D301, similar to the rest of the nation.

  • Last year (2024) we were pacing AHEAD by 10 homes compared to 2023 this same time.

In FY24 (last year) impact fees contributed $1,501,856 to district revenues.
